About Cathy

Sex and power – are any two subjects more connected, important and absolutely fascinating?

Mark Cuban says don’t follow your passion, follow your actions. For this reason I’m just going to surrender to writing, and write about what I love to think about: sex and power.

“I was a Bitch and Bust-reading feminist NeoCon Southern Baptist who saved herself for marriage. I’m now a sex-positive, polyamorous Anarcho-capitalist libertarian.’

    That’s one powerful, sexy sentence.

“are any two subjects more connected, important and absolutely fascinating?”

    Damn right. ;-P

      “a sex-positive, polyamorous Anarcho-capitalist libertarian.”

      aka clever silly libertarianism

I don’t understand the obsession with labels. It’s never mattered one bit to me what color a person’s skin is, who one sleeps with, what they eat, who they votes for, or which god, if any, they pray to; and seeing as how I wouldn’t consider myself to be on the cutting edge of societal evolution it puzzles me when I read things by people who are miles ahead of me.

Just a thought, but perhaps us folks who aren’t “mainstream” wouldn’t have to fight as hard for acceptance as “what” they are if we all spent a little more time focusing on “who” we are.

I like your blog a lot, and as a DC native, I’m happy to have you around! But I have to ask…how do you reconcile anarchism and capitalism? Traditionally, anarchists have a hate/hate relationship with capitalism dating back to Bakunin, so I’m just wondering how you find the two concepts compatible.

Anarchism and capitalism to me are what happens when you remove coercion and allow people cooperative exchange. So to me they go together perfectly.

When you talk about the state and sex in the same paragraph, you are undoubtedly talking about sodomy. That is what government does best.

By the by, you are largely trumpeting the philosophy of the great Ayn Rand. I trust you have read her works.

      >>>By the by, you are largely trumpeting the philosophy of the great Ayn Rand.

Only partially. Rand was a classical liberal who believed in a minimal state. She was definitely not an “anarcho-capitalist,” a position she found intellectually indefensible, and frankly, childish.

She was especially fond of the tyrannical state of IsraHell, minimizing its Nabka against Palestine.

She also idolized the international banking cabal of New York City.

Cathy, will The Libertarienne Show make a comeback? I really liked it. :(

Just saw you on Fox! I was honored to hear you speak! So its not a secret that the War on Drugs is a racial war on Blacks and minorities! Reminds me of the Biblical story I believe Sodom and Gomorrah , where it was said if there was one good person the city would be saved , you would be the one that would save the city ! In the face of injustice you are the First Caucasian I have ever heard say what you said! I wonder in Nazi Germany when the Jews were being oppress if there were others like you that would stand up for the oppress , Don’t stop talking about that problem you are in a position to make a difference !
